Knot tutorial showing how to tie a Running Bowline w/back-up for Tree Climbing life support
anchors
This knot can be used as a canopy anchor (top of the tree) or a base anchor (bottom of the tree)
We also use this knot to tie on pulleys when setting up lowerable MRS (Ddrt) climbing systems for kids & climbing classes
If you only learn one knot for tree climbing, learn the Running Bowline!
Our Ethos:
We believe that more folks should climb trees for recreation, fitness & work.
Increased interaction with trees will create a greater appreciation for trees.
Tree climbing should be as ubiquitous as riding a bike.
