Before They Turn the Lights Out | One Last Drink Before Going Home | Southern Whiskey Blues

“Before They Turn the Lights Out” is a slow Southern whiskey blues song about the last customer in an old roadhouse, stretching one final drink because the silence waiting at home feels heavier than the closing bell. With soulful male vocals, expressive blues guitar, and a smoky late-night atmosphere, this emotional blues story is for anyone who has ever stayed somewhere a little longer to avoid going home. Welcome to Whiskey Mile Blues — home of Southern whiskey blues, roadhouse blues, slow blues, country blues, and Americana-inspired storytelling. Here you’ll find soulful blues vocals, expressive blues guitar, warm vintage tones, and honest songs about love, loss, old friends, hard roads, second chances, and memories that never completely disappear.
