[Star Fox Remake] Normal Hard Route No Restarts NO DEATH Mouse Only CLEAR (Score: 1,482)

Mouse targetting mode is a new addition to the Switch 2 remake, because the Joy-Con 2 really can function as a mouse. Overall it's kinda awkward by the simple fact of braking and boosting is tied on the mouse Joy-Con. Try it yourself, it's not ideal! It is worth it and both surprisingly fun and viable! For defensives, no dice. You can't properly see your hitbox and your current position. Movement is also strictly using mouse too, so you can't separate your aiming and movement. On Normal it's very bearable, but on Expert? You'll experience Gradius Syndrome very often. Nu-uh. So why should one do this? One, why not? It is a feature of the game. Might as well enjoy it. Two, the game is quite a looker. Viewing the entire game in Fox's perspective is so refreshing. Yes, you still can do this in All Range Mode too, something you couldn't do in the original Star Fox 64! If you want only the 1st person view but don't like the mouse targetting mode, it's possible to go in that mode with the usual controls. #stg #shmup #nintendoswitch2
