Camellia knot 2 - Japanese paper cord craft

Let's make a Camellia knot with 2 Mizuhiki paper cords. Camellia knot is what happy JP designs calls it. It is usually called “Hira-ume musubi” literally meaning “flat plum blossom knot” as the flower petals look flatter than the basic “plum blossom knot”. If you use more mizuhiki cords, it looks gorgeous and if you insert yellow mizuhiki into the middle hole of the knot it can be made into a camellia brooch. The more cords you have the more difficult to handle. Tips for handling multiple cords are: align the tips of the cords using desktop or the other side of the hand pulling cords one by one when shaping.
