Is Modern SpongeBob Overcompensating?

This post caught my attention. What I realized is that there was a lot of variance of good and not so good episodes in this compilation. You've got trash episodes like Home Away From Home or Squidferatu that are nothing more than just movement for movements sake and then you've got actually pretty great episodes like Squirrel Jelly and Go Fetch.
