The Hotel Where Magnum, P.I. Guest Stars Stayed

In this video, we visit the historic Colony Surf Hotel in Honolulu, just a short distance from the Hawaii Film Studio, where Magnum, P.I. was filmed. During the series’ run, the Colony Surf served as a home away from home for some of the actors who traveled to Oahu to guest star alongside Tom Selleck and the cast of Magnum, P.I. We’ll explore the hotel, it's convenient location near the studio, and the fascinating connection it had to the production of one of television’s most iconic series. We’ll also take a closer look at what staying here would have been like for a visiting guest star during the 1980s.
