In this video, I dive into more detail on sustain talk. Sustain talk is anything the client says in favor of status quo. Clients often have many reasons they are feeling hesitant about change. We want to acknowledge and validate those reasons, but we also want to help tip the scales in favor of change, by eliciting and highlighting change talk.
