Informative Speech on My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic and the Brony Culture

So let me give you some background information. This was an informative speech that I had to perform for my speech communications class and I believe that I picked the best topic of all. I have never seen such an active community such as ours, one that always puts a smile on my face. I always have a deep sense of pride when I tell others that I am a brony and I feel that the general public does not really have an understanding of this community and what we're all about. That is why I decided to do this speech, to educate an audience of my peers and show them that bronies are not strange and weird beings. I really hope you guys enjoy this presentation, I worked really hard on it and it was worth every second that I was able to learn something new about our community as a whole. On another note, I give much credit to Saberspark,   / saberspark   who allowed me to use a vast amount of the information that he had gathered for his video Ballad of the Brony (Remastered)    • Видео   you haven't seen his video yet then WATCH IT.)He does a much better job of explaining the brony phenomenon then I could do with my short speech. Without his video I don't think I would have had the courage to talk about ponies to my fellow peers. SO I was supposed to have three weeks to finish the speech and presentation. Then the time got cut down to one week. Then when I was done, I realized that I had a PowerPoint that had 118 slides. So I had to cut-out a lot of the information that I wanted to present. Many of my slides contained video and audio but I guess those files didn't transfer over when I placed my PowerPoint on the schools desktop. The speech was only supposed to be 5-7 minutes long. As you can see I went a little over the specified time frame. I received a 71/100 due to my speech being so long but it was totally worth it. I know that I stuttered many times during the speech and tended to trip up on some of my words. I also noticed that some information could have been presented in a better fashion but come on guys give me a break. This is a 101 class and I was terrified to speak publicly so take it easy on me. I DO NOT OWN NOR AM I CREATOR OF ANY OF THE ART, MUSIC, ETC. THAT I PRESENTED. ALL CREDIT GOES TO THE RESPECTIVE PEOPLE WHO USED THEIR AMAZING TALENTS TO MAKE THIS COMMUNITY 20% COOLER.
