Can Simracing Prepare You for a REAL Formula 4 Car?

The short answer? YES! The handling is surprisingly similar to the simulator, and already knowing the track layout is a massive advantage. But once you add real G-forces and the realization that there is no "restart" button, it definitely feels completely different. 😅 In this video, you're riding onboard for my 3rd stint of the day—my very first time driving freely without a pace car in front. There were 10 cars on the track at the same time, and overtaking was only allowed on the straights. ⏱️ Pace vs. iRacing: I was still about 10+ seconds off my iRacing lap times. I know I could have closed that gap significantly, but unfortunately, the rain started pouring down for my final 3 stints. 🌧️ Rain Drama: Driving these in the wet is tough! I ended up spinning out once while getting on the throttle, and I also had a lock-up that forced me into the run-off area at Turn 1 (I'll be uploading a separate video of those moments soon, so subscribe to stay tuned!). All in all, it was an absolutely unforgettable day. The craziest part? Anyone with a valid driver's license and about €2500 to spare can book this exact experience!
