芥川高校は大阪と京都の中間に位置し、北に北摂山系、南は淀川を眺め、歴史遺産が多く残された自然豊かな高槻市にあります。全国の高校生が古文で学習する「伊勢物語」の「芥川」は私たちの学校のそばを流れています。 Akutagawa High School is located between Osaka and Kyoto, with the Kitakami Mountains to the north and the Yodo River to the south, in the nature-rich city of Takatsuki, which is home to many historical heritage sites. The famous “Akutagawa” section of "Ise-Monogatari,” is studied by high school students nationwide in classical language Japanese, The Akuta-river flows near our school. 和太鼓部は創部31年目を迎え、部員53名で地域イベントや高齢者施設への慰問など年40回ほどの演奏会を行っています。太鼓曲の他、三味線や琴を使った民謡や踊り、獅子舞や高齢者向けの昭和歌謡にも挑戦しています。毎年、高槻市の歴史に着目した創作曲を作って大阪大会で演奏し、今回で7連覇を達成しました。これらの創作曲の成果を取り入れて、今回の「咲くやこの花」では力強い太鼓の音はもちろん、人々の内面や時間の経過を表現するため、繊細な音の組み合わせも意識して練習しました。 The Wadaiko Drumming Club is celebrating its 31st year since its establishment, with 53 members performing at approximately 40 events annually, including regional festivals and visits to senior care facilities. In addition to drumming pieces, the club also performs folk songs and dances accompanied by shamisen and koto, as well as lion dances and Showa-era pop songs tailored for the elderly. Every year, we create original songs focused on the history of Takatsuki City and perform them at the Osaka Competition, achieving seven consecutive victories this year. Incorporating the results of these original songs, in this year's “Sakuya Konohana,” we not only focused on the powerful sound of the drums but also consciously practiced combining delicate sounds to express the inner world of people and the passage of time. 大阪岸和田の「だんじり祭り」は300年以上続く、歴史と伝統を誇る祭りです。毎年9月に行われ、祭りのクライマックスは重さ4トンのだんじりが高速で曲がり角をターンする「やり回し」です。その迫力とスピードは他に類を見ません。重いだんじりが疾走するので、事故で大けがをすることもあります。だからこそ「やり回し」に伝説が生まれます。男たちは新たな伝説を作るため、命がけで街を駆け抜けます。この曲は、晴れ舞台に向かう男たちと「どうか無事に」と背中に火打石を打って送り出す女たちの朝の風景から始まります。 The “Danjiri Festival” in Kishiwada, Osaka, is a festival with over 300 years of history and tradition. Held every September, the climax of the festival is the “Yari-mawashi,” where a 4-ton danjiri turns sharply at high speed around a corner. Its power and speed are unmatched. ▼Since the heavy danjiri race at high speeds, there have been accidents resulting in serious injuries. That is why legends are born from the “Yari-mawashi.” Men risk their lives to create new legends as they race through the streets. This song begins with the morning scene of men heading toward the stage and women sending them off with a flint strike on their backs, praying for their safety.
