Four years. Thousands of hours upside down. And a lot of falling, experimenting, getting frustrated, and starting again. In this video, I share my journey to learning the one-arm handstand — from my first year working against the wall, to leaving the wall, hitting a frustrating plateau, changing my approach, and eventually getting my first 5–10 second holds. I'll also share: → The biggest mistakes I made → Why more training didn't always mean more progress → How coaching changed my approach → My most important one-arm handstand exercises → Weight shifting and shoulder positioning → How I approached training volume → What I would do differently if I started again → What I'm working towards next One important lesson from the journey: More doesn't automatically mean better. The goal is to find the right work, do it well, understand your weaknesses, and keep experimenting. For me, the one-arm handstand took four years. And honestly... I'm glad it did. Because the journey taught me much more than just how to balance on one hand. It taught me how to approach movement. And that's what Movement Practice is really about. You don't finish. You just move on to the next project. Thanks for watching ❤️ If you're currently working on your own one-arm handstand, let me know in the comments how your journey is going. #OneArmHandstand #Handstand #MovementPractice #HandstandTraining #Calisthenics
