1969 Zelectric Ghia Walk Around [sale pending] Yes, this vintage car is 100% electric. Specs below. Email david@zelectric.com for more info. Since its late 2017 Zelectric retrofit, this 1969 Karmann Ghia has been exhibited at the La Jolla Concours d'Elegance, Los Angeles Auto Show and featured at the Art Center Design Invitational in Pasadena. Its current owner added approximately 12,000 around-town electric miles to the odometer. Other than a new 12v battery and a couple of wipers, she’s had zero issues with the car. It’s a real stunner, a rare 60s-decade Zelectric-engineered Ghia that drives like a dream. Quick off the line, selectable torque, and radical fun to drive.
