The UK industry is moving towards increasingly airtight buildings, with standards such as Passivhaus achieving air leakage rates 90% lower than a typical building. Such targets carry risk which must be managed deep into the construction programme. Airtightness is normally assessed with air pressure (‘blower door’) testing. Is there another way? Beyond Carbon's Founding Director, Chris Swinburn, will discuss technologies that detect leaks in the very early stages of construction, among many other things - this webinar is jam-packed with incredible knowledge. Beyond Carbon specialise in making complex, large-scale Passivhaus buildings achievable and best-value, delivering lowest whole-life carbon and best health and wellbeing outcomes.  Founding Director, Chris Swinburn is a mechanical engineer with over 14 years’ experience in the construction industry. He has worked on numerous Passivhaus projects including student accommodation, small- and large-scale housing, and was the Passivhaus consultant for University of Oxford's first certified Passivhaus.
