ishowspeed has been asking for people to stop calling me ishowmeat on livestream in an emotional and seemingly real way. Since then ive seen people compare him (i show speed) to the late Etika. While i show speed has been playing off the controversy that the ishow meat situation caused for content its hard to tell where the character ends and where the real person begins. This video essay is on the aftermath of when ishowspeed flashes his viewers incident and whether the comparisons to etika are valid. Even if it is played for jokes ishow speed is defiantly being affected in terms of mental health in some way and the community reaction is not helping.
