Small Prairie 5526 graces along the Dart Valley - South Devon Railway | 08/08/26

Whilst on Holiday since it was nearby I decided to spend the morning at the South Devon Railway. A popular tourist attraction in Devon which runs along the River Dart from Bukfastleigh to Totnes Riverside. Today GWR Small Prarie tank 5526 was rostered on the regular passenger workings with the unexpected appearance of GWR Pannier Tank 1369 on the footplate experiences. Today I headed to all 3 stations for shots on the SDR as I don’t really know the railway well. I started at Bukfastleigh to get some stills of the Praries and film the first train of the day depart the station from the viewing area. After that I headed to Totnes Riverside to get the Prarie running around its train and departing the station with the first return trip to Bukfastleigh. Finally I headed to Staverton to get the second round trio of the day with the added bonus of Pannier Tank 1369 which crossed 5526 in the loop just outside the station.
