Landing in Boise (BOI) 29 May 2021

AS 125 SEA-BOI 737-900 on Rwy 28R Seat F 4F 4:20 Boise River 7:30 Boise Airport 8:10 Smurf Turf! 9:55 Downtown Boise 11:05 Boise Ridge Mountains 12:25 Touch down Landing in Boise for the first time in 2017 was what got me to start videoing landings and take-offs. That approach into Boise was dramatic and beautiful, with steep dives and sharp turns. It made me wish I had videoed the landing. It wasn’t until the return flight’s approach that I finally pulled out my camera and started capturing. This landing was just as I remembered. Boise’s landscape is brown, but not boring. On our downwind approach from the northwest, we passed right over downtown with the Boise State campus seen just to the south. A sharp turn to the southwest, a steep dive, another turn to the northwest and another steep dive later, we touched down.
