Carrooka Mini - a variant idea for a Pool 8 table

Here is an idea for people who have the smaller Pool 8 sized board but would like to play a snooker-like game. The board would be too crowded with all the necessary counters (21 plus striker) so this idea takes the red counters down from 15 to 9, and then combines the six colours into the central triangle arrangement. The break works the same as normal pool (just be sure to strike a red counter first). The game then works like normal Carrooka with a red followed by a colour etc to build up breaks. When a colour needs to return to the board, it goes into the corner of the triangle nearest the pocket where it was potted. If this corner is occupied or obscured it goes to another available corner. Not sure what to do if all three corners are busy. Ideas and suggestions are welcomed. The biggest issue would be the need for two additional red counters plus the six colours, but the folks are Carrooka HQ are so lovely I bet this is something they would be prepared to help you out with.
