This winter walk begins by the River Inn, where floodlights bathe the water in changing colours, transforming its appearance as the light shifts from one shade to another. Beams of light reach up into the night sky, creating a dramatic backdrop against the winter darkness. From there, we wander through town to discover Innsbruck's illuminated architecture. The historic façades of the Hofburg and the cathedral become giant canvases for colourful light displays. Changing patterns, shifting colours and animated designs play across the buildings, highlighting architectural details and transforming familiar features into something quite different.
