This dead-ish game ( i am unsure about the 2011 Ikusa re-print ) is the mighty Samurai Swords, a strategy board game of conquering japan while managing your forces. It contains tons of small plastic miniatures, and usually lasts the whole afternoon.
Notes:
i do bring up historical accuracy: i found some corrections from the video:
--Kobayakawa and Ogata were turncoats who betrayed the west to join Tokugawa.
--Konishi and Ukita were actually western army warriors. so was Chōsokabe Morichika
--Uesugi Kagekatsu served the east
--Oda Nagamasu served the east, while Oda Hidenobu served the west!
--though the Maeda family was faithful to Tokugawa, Maeda Toshimasa decided to fight against his brother.
--Mōri Terumoto was the official head of the west, though Ishida Mitsunari was the primary planner.
