Lane Splitter iOS gameplay

Title: Lane Splitter Developer: Fractiv LLC Platform: iOS / Android Played on: iPad Pro 10.5” (2017 model) One of my all-time favorite mobile games, which I remember playing on an old iPod touch back in 2010 and always had it installed on all my devices. Unfortunately it's no longer in the App Store, but still available on Android. Lane Splitter is a classic arcade-style highscore chaser type of game, where you ride a motorcycle and get points by passing close thru traffic, doing wheelies and other stunts, depending on the rider you choose, and also collecting coins for upgrades. Graphics are still pretty cool for a 10+ year old game, with different track sections and a nice night and day cycle, although the low-resolution textures really show on bigger screens. The device's accelerometer is used to control the bike left/right, and a simple one touch control performs stunts. On this video I played with Scary Harry who is a stunt driver and on specific sections, marked with blue drawings on the track, he needs to show off different moves to impress fans on a nearby bus. His regular ability (available anytime) is doing wheelies, which give the bike a speed boost, but also make the controls super twitchy, so it's an additional challenge. At the beginning of the run I managed to pull off a nice 61 second uninterrupted wheelie. Overall, Lane Splitter is a pretty fun and challenging game, perfect for short burts of play on mobile.
