Lyrics: After Jesus Christ’s resurrection he appears to His disciples. He invites them to see the nail prints in His hands and feel the wound in His side. What an incredible moment that must have been for them. But one disciple, Thomas, was not with them. The other disciples later tell Thomas they had seen the Lord, but he doubts. He says, “Except I shall see in his hands the print of the nails, and thrust my hand into his side, I will not believe.” Eight days later Christ appears to Thomas and tells Him to behold His hands and side, and says, “Be not faithless, but believing.” Thomas knows it is the Lord. Christ is risen! Christ is alive! Follow the Light of Christ! He is the Bread of Life! He came to save He rose from the grave Follow the Light of Christ! Follow the Son of God! Worship Him and applaud! Death lost its sting To Him we sing Follow the Son of God! He is risen! He is risen! Death is no longer a prison Behold His hands! Behold His side! He is alive! Follow the Prince of Peace! Lay your sins at His feet! He’ll wipe your tears And calm all your fears Follow the Prince of Peace! Follow the King of Kings! Salvation to all He brings! Follow His will His arms are stretched out still Follow the King of Kings! He is risen! He is risen! Death is no longer a prison Behold His hands! Behold His side! He is alive! Christ is knocking at your door Will you open or ignore? Will you wait until you see? Or have faith and believe? He is risen! He is risen! Death is no longer a prison Each knee will bow and tongue confess And the Lord will do the rest He is risen! He is risen! Death is no longer a prison We’ll see His hands! We’ll see His side! He is alive! He is alive! Yes, He died, but now He’s alive! He is alive!
