A Red & Scrappy Quilt & My First Attempts At Hand Quilting | Silent Vlog | #4

In this video, I’m sewing a scrappy red quilt using my own pattern, Ravenbrook 5. You might recognize these quilt blocks from my daily updates on Instagram under the name Quiltblocktober. Once the quilt top was finished, I took a step outside my comfort zone and made my very first attempts at hand quilting. It is not perfect, but there is something so incredibly relaxing and cozy about stitching by hand. Please turn on captions / subtitles in your language to follow along. xxxxxxxxxx Welcome to Ravenbrook Quilts — a quiet place for quilting, sewing and all things creative. These silent vlogs capture a little of my everyday life in northern Germany — from my sewing room to quilts in progress and the occasional appearance of my dog Emil. If you enjoyed spending a little quiet time here, I'd be happy if you left a like, subscribed to the channel, or said hello in the comments. It's always lovely to hear from you. 🤍 Thanks so much for being here!
