MUZWalls 4.0 brings real timber-frame walls to SketchUp. This is the biggest update since the plugin launched — a full walkthrough of everything that's new, feature by feature.
The biggest addition in this update: MUZWalls now models timber-frame walls as real framing systems — studs, plates, headers, blocking, sheathing, insulation and cladding — with presets for US/IRC, Canadian and Australian building practice. Alongside that, this release adds timber floors, a standalone railings tool, hip and mono-pitch roofs, timber and steel columns, steel beams, more languages, and quantities reporting that grew from 26 to 40 sheets.
This video covers all of it, feature by feature, so you can see exactly what's changed and how to use it inside SketchUp.
