Raga Chords - Episode 3 - Harikamboji / Khamaj

Welcome to Episode 3 of Raga Chords. In this one, I talk about harikamboji, known as Khamaj in Hindustani and Mixolydian in western music. Mixolydian is quite popular in pop and rock songs. Structure wise, only the Ni (7th) is different from the major scale. That gives rise to a G minor and a Bb major chord - in the key of C. There are plenty of examples for this one. Check out the whole video. Let me know your thoughts on this one. #raga #learnmusic #chords
