On October 8, 2009, Bobby and Sherilynn Jamison and their 6-year-old daughter Madyson left their home in Eufaula, Oklahoma, to look at a piece of land in the remote Sans Bois Mountains. They never came back.
Nine days later, their pickup truck was found abandoned on a mountain road in Latimer County. The keys were still in the ignition. Their belongings, their phones and $32,000 in cash were left behind. And their dog was still inside the truck, barely alive. The family was gone.
For four years there was no trace of them. Then, in November 2013, a hunter found human remains in the woods about 2.6 miles from where the truck had been found. They belonged to Bobby, Sherilynn and Madyson.
In this video we go through the full story: the family's last day, the home surveillance footage recorded that morning, what investigators found inside the truck, the strange details that surfaced later, and the theories that still divide people today. More than fifteen years later, no one knows how the Jamison family died.
This video is based on publicly available reports and is made with respect for the Jamison family and their relatives.
