Creating a very basic arm in blender

This is my second attempt at an arm or elbow joint. I went into this with a lot more knowledge then the first try. starting in the full bent position is definitely the right move for learning how to split a mesh for animation. Got it connected with the hand I made previously. Any tip will help I you have any knowledge on blender.
