Being an Independent Facilitator (IF) for the Self Determination Program

Kendall, the Central Valley Regional Center's Man on the Street interviews three Independent Facilitators (IF) about what it is like to be and an IF for California's Self Determination Program (SDP). This video is a project of the Central Valley Regional Center's (CVRC) Local Advisory Committee for Self Determination Program (SDP). For more information, contact a CVRC Participant Choice Specialist (PCS) at sdp@cvrc.org. Kendall is a life long client of CVRC and was one selected as a pilot participant for SDP. He wanted to enhance his knowledge of video production and learn job skills (pre vocational training). His service provider suggested a YouTube channel. That started his channel Adventures With Kendall and the rest is history. Kendall now has a handful of channels that include:    / @adventureswithkendall      / @railroadawk      / @awk360   SDP is not for everyone, but it has helped Kendall use his gifts to bless the world.
