hello there I’m trying to reach the pocklington canal

From Goole to Barmby Barrage and on to East Cottingwith in East Yorkshire. Huge thanks to Pocklington canal amenity society member John Lewis, as I needed a second crew member for the trip simply to gain passage through Goole docks, and he graciously stepped up. We cranked it along a very windy tidal river Ouse, going the wrong side of an island, stopping off at a campsite pub and then I was left to journey solo along the wild and winding river Derwent, before meeting another PCAS member Malcolm who was ready with his camera to take snaps!!
