Cosford Container Park is a unique outdoor dining and lifestyle destination at 30 Cosford Road, Changi, right beside the flight path of Changi Airport. It opened on 29 January 2024 and was developed as one of Singapore's largest outdoor F&B container parks.
What makes Cosford special is its combination of food, music, open-air space and aircraft views. The park is built using shipping containers, giving it an industrial and colourful atmosphere. Visitors can enjoy meals and drinks outdoors while watching aircraft approaching or departing from Changi Airport.
✈️ A great place for plane spotting
The biggest attraction is undoubtedly the airport runway view. Depending on the runway operations and wind conditions, aircraft can be seen flying relatively close to the park. The sound of aircraft engines adds to the experience, especially in the evening.
It is important to note that aircraft movements and directions change, so Cosford does not guarantee that every visit will have take-offs passing directly in front of you. Singapore's official Changi Airport viewing malls are another option for aviation enthusiasts.
🍜 Food & entertainment
The park originally featured 13 F&B operators, with indoor and outdoor seating, plus an outdoor performance area. Its concept goes beyond simply eating: visitors can enjoy live music, events, sports broadcasts and other activities.
The atmosphere can be particularly interesting around sunset and at night—have dinner, listen to music, enjoy the open-air surroundings and keep your camera ready for aircraft.
🪖 A location with history
Cosford Road also has an important wartime connection. The area was associated with Johore Battery, part of the British coastal defence system during World War II. During the Japanese invasion in 1942, some of the guns were turned around to fire inland before they were subsequently destroyed. The site has been recognised as historically significant.
So Cosford is more than just a food destination—it combines Singapore's military history, aviation, dining and entertainment in one location.
