In this powerful and inspiring message, Pastor SG Ramafamba unpacks the importance of recognising God's voice and responding to His calling. Through 1 Samuel 3:1–10, believers are reminded that God still calls people for His purpose, and our responsibility is to be ready to listen, obey, and answer when He calls. The story of young Samuel reveals a powerful truth: God can call you even when you do not fully understand His voice or the purpose He has for your life. While Samuel was serving in the house of the Lord under Eli, God called him by name. At first, Samuel did not recognise the voice of the Lord, but through guidance and instruction, he eventually learned how to respond. This message challenges believers to understand that when God calls, our response matters. Sometimes, we become so occupied with the noise of the world, our personal struggles, ambitions, and daily responsibilities that we fail to recognise when God is speaking to us. Yet, just as God called Samuel, He can call us into a deeper relationship with Him, a greater level of obedience, and a purpose beyond our own understanding. Pastor SG Ramafamba encourages believers to develop a listening heart and a willing spirit. Picking up the call requires more than hearing a voice; it requires a willingness to surrender our plans, trust God's direction, and follow wherever He leads. God may call us to serve, to lead, to change our ways, to encourage others, or to step into an assignment that stretches our faith. The message also reminds us that we do not always need to have all the answers before responding to God. Samuel was still young and learning, but God called him nonetheless. Your age, background, past mistakes, or present circumstances do not determine whether God can use you. What matters is your willingness to hear His Word and respond in faith. In 1 Samuel 3:9–10, Samuel is instructed to respond to the Lord by saying, “Speak, for Your servant is listening.” This response demonstrates the posture every believer should have before God: humility, attentiveness, and obedience. It is not enough to desire God's blessings; we must also be willing to hear His instructions and walk according to His will. Are you ready to pick up the call? Are you willing to listen when God speaks, even when His instructions challenge your comfort? Will you answer when He calls you to serve, to grow, to forgive, or to take a step of faith? Sometimes, the next chapter of your life begins with a simple but powerful response: “Speak, Lord, for Your servant is listening.” This message is a call to spiritual awareness, obedience, and readiness. Do not ignore the voice of God. Make room for His presence, remain grounded in His Word, and allow Him to prepare you for the purpose He has placed before you. You may not understand everything today, but you can choose to trust the One who is calling you. When God calls, do not remain silent. Pick up the call, listen with your heart, and answer with obedience. Your response could be the beginning of a new chapter in your walk with God. 🔔 Don't forget to Like, Share, Comment, and Subscribe for more powerful sermons, biblical teachings, and life-transforming messages from Pastor SG Ramafamba. #PickUpTheCall #1Samuel3 #1Samuel310 #PastorSGRamafamba #SpeakLord #GodsCalling #HearTheVoiceOfGod #DivineCalling #ObedienceToGod #FaithInGod #ChristianSermon #BiblicalTeaching #WordOfGod #SpiritualGrowth #ChristianLiving #ServeGod #GodsPurpose #AnswerTheCall #JesusChrist #ZAOMIC
