CSX, Hard working Mother & Slave, and badly needed jointed rail repair, 1991

Thanks for watching this short clip filmed on the Monongahela Railway in June of 1991. CSX Mother and Slave, 6400-2236, with a loaded coal train sounds really great getting under way at BROW. This is where the CSX gets off the MGA, and on to the ex-P&LE trackage to Newell, where it will then head into Pittsburgh PA. The second clip at Big Run was were the MGA Big Meadow yard once was. The Jointed rail in this location is in much need of new ballast and track work, but sounds good. This was filmed with a Panasonic VHS Camera in 1991. Please do not use without permission.
