Our favourite MTB trail on the Garden Route: Harkerville

Harkerville Mountain Bike Route - 22.8km 500m elevation. Garden Route (Tsitsikamma, Knysna, Wilderness) National Park, SANparks Continuing our Knysna series! A relatively short drive from our tent at Diepwalle, we could indulge ourselves and our bikes in some more indigenous forest. But the goal of the day was the OCEAN! What a beauty! Neither the daunting route profile nor the baboons were able to dissuade us to turn around. This trail definitely drained our Duracells, so some fitness is advised to make it a smoother ride. If you're not into mountain biking, run it. If you can't do trail running, walk it. Crawl it, if you have too. This trail is a definite must!
