SEAWAY ALFA LIFT large heavy lift crane vessel

Seaway Alfa Lift, is a large heavy lift crane vessel, perfectly suited to offshore construction. Featuring a 3,000 tonne crane and an 8,000m2 main deck space with a strength of 30t/m2 , the vessel is capable of transporting and installing offshore structures including jackets, transition pieces, topsides and monopiles. The vessel has an integrated motion compensated walk to work gangway and is in combination with a Class 2 DP system ideal for post installation hook up and completion activities on a variety of topsides structures including transition pieces and substations. The vessel has capacity to carry up to 44,000 tonnes of cargo and equipment. Seaway Alfa Lift is prepared for hybridisation with a battery upgrade procured and ready to install. The vessel will be equipped with an energy saving and storage system designed to maximise autonomy and allow for integration with different existing power and vessel management systems on board. The main crane has a 71 metre maximum outreach and also has the ability to lower its A-frame to reduce the overall height of the vessel. This allows the vessel to pass under bridges, providing flexibility and reduced transit times.
