SMOTHERED! | Cricket highlights w/ commentary | NWLCC 1sts v Anston 1sts | S3 ep3

After torrential rain in the build up to the weekend, our grounds team pulled out all the stops to get this match against South Yorkshire's Anston CC on. Our guests were looking to kick-start their season after three of their games were cancelled before a ball was bowled and had only managed to play a rain-impacted game so far in 2023. We were reeling from the loss of Shamario Depeiza, who has had to return to Barbados for health reasons, ending his stay with us. And that meant a debut for our new overseas player - Duane Bush from 'Straya. Expect a seesaw encounter, superb swing bowling and belligerent batting! Rain, I mean rain.
