An accidental text to her sixth-grade daughter blew the whole thing open. She lost her nursing license, went through drug court, and clawed her way back. Then alcohol showed up. Quietly. A leftover bottle on a Tuesday. One drink turned into waking up shaking at 3AM, hiding bottles around the house, and drinking by two in the afternoon.
