What if there are things about your personality that everyone around you can see... but you can’t? You know your intentions. You know why you reacted the way you did. You know what you meant. But other people experience something different: your behavior. And somewhere between how you see yourself and how other people experience you are the blind spots you may not even know exist. In this episode, we explore the psychology of self-awareness, why certain patterns are easier to recognize from the outside, how your strengths can create blind spots, and why the gap between intention and impact matters. We’ll also look at repeated patterns, unexpected reactions from other people, how to receive useful feedback without turning it into a judgment about who you are, and why understanding yourself only becomes useful when that awareness begins changing your behavior. Self-awareness isn’t about creating one permanent definition of yourself. It’s about becoming willing to update what you believe about yourself when reality gives you new information. Because the things you don’t know about yourself aren’t necessarily problems. Sometimes they’re simply the parts of you that you haven’t learned how to see yet.
