Welcome to the first Taking Care with Anne Lindyberg—a free weekly interactive livestream about becoming more fully present, more fully yourself, and more fully human.
We’ll begin with a brief introduction to Anne and the influences on her work: Virginia Satir’s approach to growth and change, Deep Brain Reorienting (DBR), and the Alexander Technique. Anne’s Pyramid of Self-Care will provide a starting point for exploring what taking care can mean in everyday life.
Then the conversation opens to your questions, experiences, and curiosity. What comes to mind when you hear “self-care”? Does it actually feel like care to you?
Join us Monday, October 19, 2026, at 6 PM Central. Come listen, ask questions, or contribute in the live chat. No preparation is needed. Share your city or general region to say hi.

CRISIS POLICY AND RESOURCES
This show offers education and conversation, not therapy or crisis care. Comments are public and may not be seen or answered promptly. If a comment suggests immediate danger, available information may be shared with the platform’s safety team or emergency services and may be hidden from the livestream. Please do not rely on posting here to obtain emergency help.
If you feel yourself in crisis, please take steps to keep yourself safe. This might include contacting a friend or loved one, your doctor's office (which may not respond immediately but can help with ongoing support and crisis planning), local law enforcement or crisis services, or online crisis services hosted in your country.
In the US this would include calling or texting 988 to speak with a live crisis support person, visiting https://988lifeline.org, or in immediate danger or a medical emergency, calling 911 to summon law enforcement or medical emergency services to you. If you can travel safely, you may also travel to a law enforcement location or a hospital emergency department and present yourself as in need of services.
Thank you for being here. Your presence, your curiosity, and your particular way of being human are welcome.
