Healed from Stage-Four Cancer with Diego Mesa - Part 3

Pastor Diego Mesa is one of my (Berin Gilfillan's) closest friends and his testimony of being healed from Stage 4 kidney cancer is a vitally important one. At the time of posting this series, pastor Diego is passing his 15th year since the diagnosis. Although he was told to not plan to live past ONE year, he continues to thrive healthily and, often to my chagrin, keeps beating me at golf. He and his sons also continue to head up an incredibly successful multi-million dollar church campus in Rancho Cucamonga, California. In dealing with his story, my focus was on capturing the journey to health. That is what I asked him to share in this four-part series. What were his tangible steps to recovery? As you will see, it was an extremely multifaceted battle, not just in his physical body and his relationship with the medical community, but in his mind, in his family, in his relationships with his friends, in his emotions and especially in his spiritual life. These recordings made so many of those battles come back to life as he relived his experiences through sharing an array of very personal details.
