Four Retired Texas Rangers Take On a Crooked Town | Full Western Comedy Movie

🤠 They hung up their guns years ago. A crooked town just gave them a reason to strap them back on. Captain Oren Hayes of the Texas Rangers rides into Boulder, Nevada, to visit his daughter — and finds her husband, a young newspaper publisher, running for mayor against the boss who owns the whole town. Mayor Lundy has the sheriff in one pocket and the judge in the other, and he has no intention of losing an election. His men answer the newspaper with their fists. So Hayes sends a telegram to three old partners from the Rangers. They come — slower, stiffer and a lot older than any of them would like to admit. If they can't outdraw Lundy's gunmen anymore, they'll have to outsmart them. A dream cast of Western character actors: Walter Brennan, Pat O'Brien, Chill Wills, Edgar Buchanan, Andy Devine, Jack Elam and Gypsy Rose Lee, with Ricky Nelson. Produced by Aaron Spelling for ABC — it became the first movie made for television to finish as the most-watched programme of its week. Expect: old-timer banter · a crooked sheriff and a whiskey-soaked judge · trick shooting and saloon tricks 👍 A thumbs up helps more people find these old films. 💬 Which of these old Western faces did you grow up watching?
