The Skyborne: Azeroth's Elves Beyond the Clouds

Before Zephras Isle, there was Eldre'Thalas. Before the Skyborne found a home beyond the clouds, their ancestors faced a choice: accept Prince Tortheldrin's dangerous bargain, or fight for a different future. In this World of Warcraft: Forever lore deep dive, we follow the hidden people's story from the ruins we know as Dire Maul to their refuge in Skywall. Discover the rebellion led by the mysterious Shal'nan, the pact with the wind spirits, and the history that separates the Skyborne from the elves of Quel'Thalas. But their refuge is failing. Their protectors have vanished, their founder is missing, and their descendants must decide where to place their trust. Can the Windshapers restore the old bond? Can the High Order secure a future through arcane knowledge? And what does the unexplained Sky-Touched Blessing mean for their people? There is also the decision many players are debating: Access to the Skyborne race and Zephras Isle starting experience requires a separate paid pack. Is that fair for an optional new race, or should the race and its origin story be included with the subscription? After hearing their lore, has your view changed? Let me know in the comments.
