In this episode of Know The News, Neeraj Jha and Nivedita discuss how the government and sections of the media are attempting to shift the narrative surrounding the INDIA alliance's massive rally in Delhi. While the opposition's rally at Ramlila Maidan witnessed a huge gathering of people, the focus of much of the media coverage has been on questioning the size of the crowd rather than examining the message behind the rally. The INDIA alliance's rally was organised to raise concerns about the Election Commission's Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls and the alleged threat to voting rights and democracy. Despite the massive turnout, sections of the media have been attempting to portray the rally as a failure, repeatedly questioning whether the opposition managed to bring enough people to the ground. But there is another important question that deserves attention: What happened to the government's own rally? The government has also been organising a Samvidhan Bachao Yatra, yet the same media outlets that are questioning the opposition's crowd have largely remained silent about it. Why is the opposition's rally being scrutinised so intensely while the government's own political mobilisation is receiving comparatively little attention? Why is the discussion centred on the number of people attending a rally instead of the issues that brought them together? The INDIA alliance's rally demonstrated that thousands of people were willing to come together to raise their voices for the Constitution, democracy and their voting rights. The attempt to dismiss the gathering as insignificant raises serious questions about the priorities of the media and the political narrative being pushed before the public. Rahul Gandhi has repeatedly warned that the Constitution is under threat. The government's own decision to organise a Samvidhan Bachao Yatra raises an important question: If the Constitution is safe, why is there a need to campaign for its protection? Does this not reinforce the concerns that Rahul Gandhi has been raising? Watch Neeraj Jha and Nivedita discuss the politics behind the rallies, the media's selective coverage and the larger question of who is really defending the Constitution. #KnowTheNews #NeerajJha #Nivedita #INDIAGathbandhan #RahulGandhi #SamvidhanBachao #RamlilaMaidan #IndianMedia #IndianPolitics #Constitution #Democracy #Molitics ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 📲 Available on: • Molitics App (iOS) – https://apps.apple.com/in/app/molitic... • Molitics App (Android) – https://play.google.com/store/apps/de... • Website – https://www.molitics.in 📢 Follow us on: • View all Videos :- https://www.molitics.in/moliticsvideo... • Facebook –   / molitics   • Twitter – https://x.com/moliticsindia?s=20 • Instagram –   / molitics.india   • WhatsApp Channel – https://whatsapp.com/channel/0029Vaa7... 📩 Contact us at: Office@molitics.in
