Three 3/8 Craftsman socket sets on the bench. One new, two old. Full ratchet teardowns, what actually changed, and a giveaway once we hit 1,000 subs. Craftsman used to mean Sears, USA steel, and a lifetime warranty you could walk into a store with. Stanley Black & Decker bought the name in 2017. A lot of the sockets now come out of China or Taiwan, some get the “Made in USA with global materials” tag, and the old warranty is not the warranty your dad used. This video is the sets side by side so you can see it instead of reading a label.
