This is my first YouTube Live. Not my first live on YouTube, my first live ever, on any platform, in my life. I am three months into this channel, it is Saturday morning, and a storm hit my life last night and took my kitchen with it. So I cleaned it on camera and talked the whole way through.

🎥 Rob the Maritimer, who I talk about in this video: • HOW Youtube Changed My Life (in 4 months) ...
I set this entire YouTube Live up using AI. I told Claude Code what I wanted to talk about and had it walk me through the setup in my browser, and I used Wispr Flow to talk instead of type the whole way. In here I go through what I actually did, the cable and camera problems that ate my morning, why I decided to use the mic indoors when I normally do not, and the part nobody tells you, which is that you are never really prepared for anything until you do it.
I also get into the honest version of where I am right now. I am going back to corporate while I keep building this, and I talk about what that actually means for a channel you are trying to grow at the same time. And I answer a question that came in live from someone who wants to start a channel but is nervous to be on camera.
WHAT YOU'LL LEARN
How to set up a YouTube Live using AI, in the order I actually did it, mistakes included
When a mic actually matters and when it does not, based on what I have tested on this channel
Why you should take YouTube advice with a grain of salt, including mine
What it looks like to go back to corporate without giving up the thing you are building
Why your first live should sit on top of an hour you were already going to spend
About this video: Stop Waiting Until You're Ready To Go Live. My first YouTube Live ever, recorded while cleaning my kitchen, with the full AI setup walkthrough and everything that went wrong on the way.
