Class 37s Double Take! Trainspotting in Cumbernauld & Greenfaulds

On Saturday 29th August 2026, I saw 37219 and 37421 early in the morning just outside Cumbernauld station on a public footbridge. I returned to the location roughly 4 hours later hoping to see 68033 on 4D00, but of course it failed at Stirling meaning I had to make do with seeing 66433 on 1Z99 going to Stirling to rescue the failed locomotive. Straight after this, I then headed to Halidon, which is just outside Greenfaulds to see 43272 and 43251 on the PLPR train heading to Inverness. A few hours after, I then went to Greenfaulds station to catch 37219 and 37421 again heading back to Larbert. This is a great watch and I hope you enjoy it as much as I did.
