Old Glory Over an Arizona School 🇺🇸 | Mesa Sights & Sounds

Old Glory watches over an Arizona school beneath a beautiful—and rather unusual—Mesa sky. 🇺🇸 This 3-minute and 23-second long-form video captures the American flag flying on a tall flagpole in front of **Sequoia Pathfinder Academy at Eastmark in Mesa, Arizona**. For much of our visit, Old Glory is fairly calm, draping naturally from the pole. But every so often the Arizona breeze arrives, catches the Stars and Stripes and gives us a beautiful unfurled view before the flag settles again. The sky provides a fascinating backdrop. Brilliant Arizona blue surrounds an unusual, elongated horizontal cloud stretching across the left portion of the scene. Shades of gray, white and even reddish-pink give the cloud additional character above the school grounds. But make sure you listen to this one. There is **no added music and no narration**. Everything you hear was recorded naturally at the location. Passing vehicles mix with the calls of local birds—and then there are the aircraft. Several planes pass overhead during the recording, and some are surprisingly loud, creating a distinctive soundtrack to this otherwise peaceful morning scene. Rather than remove those sounds, I've left them in. They are part of the moment and part of what it actually sounded like standing beneath Old Glory that day in East Mesa. A flag doesn't always need to be whipping dramatically in the wind to make an interesting scene. Sometimes it's the setting, the sky and the sounds of everyday life happening around it that tell the story. Thank you for watching and supporting *Vinnie's Flags* as we continue discovering the flags of America and the world—one flag, one location and one moment at a time.
