In this video, we are taking our rental car on an epic mountain-to-coast route from Ölüdeniz to Kalkan, making a massive, breathtaking detour up the mighty Babadağ Mountain! 🇹🇷🚘 Driving in Turkey is all about the views, and this route delivers exactly that. We leave the turquoise coast of Ölüdeniz, climb up the steep, winding roads of Babadağ (famous for its paragliders!), and then cruise down the coastal D400 highway all the way to the charming, upscale town of Kalkan. If you love dramatic cliffs, hairpin turns, and jaw-dropping Mediterranean views, buckle up and join the ride! 💡 Road Trip Tips for This Route: The Climb: The road up to Babadağ is fully paved and modern, but it is very steep with tight hairpin bends. Make sure your rental car has a decent engine and your brakes are in good shape! The Route: After descending Babadağ, you will jump onto the D400 highway towards Kalkan. It’s a smooth, highly scenic drive that takes about 1 hour (around 60 km) from the base of the mountain.
