Hello and Welcome to Deaf Talks News French President Emmanuel Macron has warned that Russia's against France and other European countries is intensifying. He has ordered France to immediately protect all critical infrastructure and important defence locations from these threats. He said in recent weeks Russia has significantly increased its activities planned against European nations. These include drone threats and cyber attack threats. He also warned any Russian attacks against France will be met with a strong response. What about Poland? Poland, a NATO member country bordering Ukraine, is also facing serious threats. Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk said that intelligence officials have indicated Russia could carry out drone and missile attacks on Poland. He said Russia is testing and provoking NATO countries to check how seriously the alliance will respond to attacks. Why is Russia doing this? European countries have been providing weapons and support to Ukraine in the ongoing Russia-Ukraine war. European countries have been rapidly expanding and strengthening their own military capabilities. Russia is angry about both these developments. Russian President Vladimir Putin has responded to these accusations. He said Russia has absolutely no aggressive intentions towards European countries. He warned we want to live in peace.
