Ford Van Revival (Ford E150 5.8 1993)

From Italy : Restoration of my 1993 Ford E150 (Econoline) V8 5.8 van. Song "Ford Van Revival" Out on the edge of town Behind a fence of rust There sat a Ford van Covered up in dust Peeling paint, flat tires A bent old chrome grin One look from that Italian heart And he said, “I’m in” He ran his hand on the hood Like it still had a soul Said, “I can bring you back” “Watch me make you whole” Ford van revival Back from the grave Ford van revival Look what he saved He found the gold inside Under all that gray Ford van revival Rollin’ back today He hauled it to the shop With a tow chain tight Blew the dust from the dash In the morning light New seals, new glass Fresh coat, clean and true Every dent got a story Every bolt got new He kept that engine patient Kept the old soul alive Turned every broken part Into a second life Ford van revival Back from the grave Ford van revival Look what he saved He found the gold inside Under all that gray Ford van revival Rollin’ back today Leather on the seats now Trim shining like a ring That old tin workhorse Got a brand-new spring From Italy to the driveway He brought it back in style Now it turns heads slow When it smiles that mile Ford van revival Back from the grave Ford van revival Look what he saved He found the gold inside Under all that gray Ford van revival Rollin’ back today
