Gulzar Mahal, Bahawalpur in 2 Minutes | The Land of Rohi - Cholistan Desert, Pakistan [4K] Ultra HD

For more than 200 years, Bahawalpur was ruled by the Abbasi family. During their rule, they contributed immensely to the development of the state. They built numerous palaces with state-of-the-art architecture which are great examples of craftsmanship. One such beautiful structure located in Bahawalpur City is the Gulzar Mahal. Conceived and initiated during the reign of Nawab Bahawal Khan V (1899–1907), in the early 20th Century, but unfortunately, he did not live to see his ideas take the form of reality. The Palace was completed in 1923 and named after his wife. Gulzar Palace lies within a vast quadrangle, fenced by high fortification walls and is considered one of the central state monuments of Bahawalpur. It is the second state building that echoes the resurgence of native architecture.
