The Green Hills of Gamlitz and the Enchanting Herzerlstaße (Styria, Austria and Slovenia)

Gamlitz is situated on the south-eastern frontier of Austria, bordering Slovenia. With its green hills, vineyards, local eateries (with food and drink produced locally) and the famous Herzel Strasse (on the Slovenian side of the border), it’s a hiking favourite for many people within relatively short driving distance from both countries.
